The popular German style known as Kolsch represents the perfect thirst quencher as the weather turns from warm to hot. Developed in Cologne, Germany, Kolsch is warm fermented, then cold conditioned (or “lagered”) to emphasize the fruity attributes present in the yeast strain. Pale and straw-colored with a foamy white head, this refreshing, medium-bodied ale offers subtle hop bitterness and a slightly dry finish with hints of white grape, spiced apple, and citrus fruit. 4.7% ABV.
