Incorporating tones of a Flemish red with the intricate subtleties of a Framboise lambic, Red Briar integrates aspects of the most notable Old World wild beers. Characterized out of respect rather than definition, this American wild ale envelops all the traditional aspects of a wild beer: must, earthiness, funk, "barnyard", and of course, sour. In addition, this ale blends in a subtle sweetness without the use of pasteurization and has a natural tart, yet refreshing, fruit flavor from aging on raspberries in the cask. 8% ABV.
