We’ve been hoping to score local apricots for a few seasons now, and last fall, Peters Orchards took care of us. When the crates arrived, we had a batch of our woodsy, tangy Pennsylvania wild saison Farmette finishing up its time in red wine barrels. Fresh apricots and peaches add a sweet and tart roundness to the body amplified by fruity esters and subtle clove on the finish. 7.4% ABV.
In the hop fields we daydream and study, and at the brewery we tinker and test. For Field Study, dry-hopping delivers notes of ripe grapefruit, mango, pear and melon. Add a backbone of local rustic pale malt, and Field Study is just what we were after: a slightly hazy yet bright summer daydream come true. 6.2% ABV.
Lush oatmeal mouthfeel balanced with cocoa, roast and subtle coffee flavors. 7.5% ABV.
When we make our annual pilgrimage to the hop-growing hotbed of Yakima Valley, we're like kids in a candy store. We eyeball the hops on the lines, crush them in our hands and rub them til their oil fill the air. LolliHop brings together three of our favorites. Dry-hopping with Citra and Mosaic layers in notes of orange, grapefruit, and melon, while Azacca in the kettle adds hints of papaya and pineapple. Locally harvested rustic pale malt provides the backbone, and wheat and oats make this beer silky smooth with a touch of haze. 9.1% ABV.
Sometimes inspiration strikes when you least expect it. With Nimble Giant, we’ve stumbled upon this mammoth Double IPA when we weren’t even looking. Encumbered by a substantial slab of American hops, Nimble Giant intimidates the palate with spicy grapefruit rind, juicy passion fruit, pungent pine sap, and earthy forest floor. And take heed, because this behemoth is stealthy for his size. 9% ABV.
Heady collection of Nugget, Warrior and Tomahawk hops, with intense malt and hop flavors to create an explosive hop experience. 7.5% ABV.
Sunshine Pils combines the crisp taste of European style Pilseners with a kicked-up hop character to create a balanced, refreshing seasonal beer. Golden in color with a fluffy white head.
Double bock with a strong malt aroma and chewy rich body. 8.2% ABV.
