Light-golden lager. Malty, grainy and bready with some shy hops in the finish. 4.9% ABV.
Extra Hoppy Amber Weiss. Mahr's master brewer has a new love - an exciting and saucy new variety of Hallertauer hop called Saphir, German for "sapphire." There's a metric ton of Saphir hops in this ground-breaking Weiss. 5.6% ABV.
It pours with a big, creamy, long-lasting, head; has a golden-bronze color; a wonderfully fresh, perfumy; hop aroma; a remarkably smooth, almost oily, malty, palate; very fresh flavours; and a spritzy finish. It is beautifully balanced, but leans to the dry side.
